Today, we're in Cleveland for James John (of Divine Minds) and his album "St. Free Street".

This album has a little bit of everything - insightful lyrics, confident delivery, a strong message, social commentary, and great beats.
James John is a skilled MC with a lot of work under his belt. Between rapping solo and with his group, Divine Minds, he's released 8 albums since 2009 - each a bit different than the others.
"St. Free Street" features 19 tracks of pure fire. It's got GREAT beats, including a Royksopp instrumental for the song "Elevate!!!". There are also a couple of gems produced by Sosa. "Motorbus Epiphany" shows off some of the incredible lyrics, with social battles at the forefront. "Not From Here" is my favorite, so far. James John raps quick and clear. "Winning" is also a cool, soulful song. But really, this is one you can play cover to cover.
You're going to be impressed when you hear this, so go check it out. Take a listen to his album "From:Here. To: Pollux.", as well. It's a little older, but you get the same quality. James John's got skills.
